History
The sound of mahjong tiles clicking together evokes strong memories for anyone who has travelled in Asia or even to their local Chinatown.
This ancient and traditional Chinese game is the foundation of MahJong Room's philosophy: to celebrate family, tradition, culture and combine these essential ingredients of life over good food.
William Hui and Erika Chan opened MahJong Room in 2002 with the aim of sharing this heritage and memories of their childhood growing up in Hong Kong for all Sydneysiders to enjoy.
